Who is Joseph Stalin?
Joseph Stalin born in 1878 and died in 1953 was the dictator of the USSR AKA Union of Soviet Socialist Republics from 1929 to 1953. This changed from a weak society into a military superpower. However, he ruled by being really strict and unpleasant to his citizens and the world. Stalin was born in a small town in Georgia called Gori. Joseph real name was ‘Josef Vissarionovich Djugashvili’, he changed his name to Stalin in his 30s which meant “man of steel”. Stalin grew up in a poor family while him being the only child. His father was a shoe crafter who was a heavy drinker who keeps on beating his son, and his mother was a laundress. As a little boy Stalin came in contact with smallpox, which left him with lifelong scars. In his teen years, he got a scholarship to attend a seminary in a nearby city of Tbilisi and study for the priesthood in Georgian Orthodox Church. When he was there he secretly reads the work of German social philosopher. In 1899, Stalin was expelled from the seminary for skipping exams, although he claimed it was for Marxist propaganda. Stalin has involved in various criminal activities including doing many types of bank heists. Stalin was married in 1906 and has one son, who sadly died as a prisoner in Germany during WWII.

In 1912 Joseph Stalin was to serve on the first Central Committee of the Bolshevik Party. Three years later in November 1917, the Bolsheviks seized power in Russia. The Soviet Union was founded in 1922 with Lenin as its first leader. During the continuing years Stalin was going up in ladder in power. When Lenin died in 1924, Stalin, did a big leap through his rivals into being the dictator of the soviet union in the late 1920s. So Joseph's excellent persuading Technics got him to power because of that many Russians trusted their life on his significant mind. |
Who liked and disliked Joseph Stalin?
Joseph is liked and disliked by many people across the globe. Some people could dislike him because of how strict and abusive he is in Eastern Europe. Some people would like him because of how he changed Russia to a big superpower that is feared by the rest of the world especially the West. Joseph Stalin did change Russia amazingly with better food supplies, weapons, and control. But, of the cost of couple of millions lives from eastern Europe. Joseph Stalin was so strict that he ordered snipers to kill kids that are getting water canisters to the German soldier for some food. So there is multiple people that did like and dislike Joseph Stalin and with variety of reasons, and it also mostly depends on which of your country getting influenced by Russia; and in Russia it depends on how lucky you get and your ranking in the Eastern side of Europe.

How did Joseph Stalin change Europe?
Joseph Stalin changed Europe by separating it into 2. The main split was in Germany in Berlin, it was split between East which was controlled by Russia. The West side was controlled by the Americans, which was way better treated than the Eastern. Which was known as the “Iron Curtain” is a cover and kind of blockage to the western world to hide the strictness and of how freedom restricted it is. The Separation of Europe and Germany like the Berlin wall changed Germany until 1989. The separation and the influence of both of the superpowers are doing to the rest of the country which is made by propaganda wars and that is still happening now by Syria hating the US and countries like Israel disliking Russia. This making still countries that were influenced by one of these superpowers making them hate the other. However, this doesn’t go for ever as some allies come and go like China with Russia which used to be close allies and influenced by Russia. So in conclusion, So in conclusion, Joseph is a man to some people in this world as a hero and to others a villain, but, in the end he gets plenty of respect from his country for changing Russia from the better and the stronger. |
